Steven ShechterSteven Shechter is an Associate Professor in the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. His research primarily focuses on applying dynamic programming and simulation techniques to decision making in health care.

Recently, he was awarded a Career Investigator Award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research for his work in this area.

Steven is a past recipient of the INFORMS Bonder Scholarship for Health Care Research, and was the 2012 president of the Health Applications Society of INFORMS. He currently directs the Centre for Operations Research and Analytics in Health (CORAH) at UBC.
